Airbnb

Airbnb is known for their spectacular offices that are inspired by unique Airbnb homes around the world. We provided services for a three-floor tenant improvement project featuring intricate details and high-end finishes requiring the coordination between several trades.

Each floor we worked on consisted of offices, conference rooms, a safe room, and a movie and sound studio area. The studio and movie areas required high acoustic ratings, including a green screen backdrop installation in the movie studio. All the finishes in the space were a seamless blend of drywall, wood, and stone/brick.

The client requested an auditorium with a small stage and radius theater seating, which proved to be a challenge not only because of the curvature of each of the steps, but because the bottom level was a compound curve on a slope.

Furthermore, we created a demising wall while maintaining the fire rating requirement between the tenant space and open-air atrium, a special feat given that the wall was radiused with glazing elements.
